22 wins the first Mujib Olympiad

For the first time in Mujib year, 10 people have won the 'Online Quiz' and 12 people have won the 'My Bangabandhu Competition' at the Mujib Olympiad, a bilingual international competition organized by the ICT Department. These 22 winners won taka 1 lakh each winning Bangabandhu Olympiad. Md. Najib Alam and Muhammad Atiqullah of Mymensingh Agricultural University, Rajlaxmi Mandal and Sabit Ibn Muaz of Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College, Sheikh Maher Ansari Mahim of Bhola Char Fashion, Abdullahil Rakib Al Hasan of Netrokona , Talha Jubayer of Gaibandha and Marju Alam and Sifat Rabbi Priyam from Dhaka were declared as the winners of Mujib Olympiad. The winners of my Bangabandhu competitio has also been declared and they are: Sidratul Muntaha from Narayanganj, Israt Jahan Noor Eva, Barnik Boishwa, Saiful Islam Khan and Afid Noor from Dhaka, Chandrika Mandal from Pirojpur, Biswajit Sarkar from Gopalganj, ANM Akib from Patuakhali, Shatadal Biswas from Jhalokathi, Habiba Sultana Brishti from Joypurhat, Dewan Faria Tasnim of Shariatpur and Mosammat Tahura Akter Tanni of Narsingdi. State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak announced the winners virtually on Monday. He said the prizes would be delivered to the winners through the local deputy commissioner as they did not have the opportunity to attend physically. The state minister said digital media is the most powerful medium at the moment to present information and data of Bangabandhu's struggling life. Because our children and teenagers use this medium to get data. The state minister said that even in the ongoing pandemic, the ICT department has reached out to crores of people by taking advantage of this opportunity. Director General of ICT Department ABM Arshad Hossain delivered a welcome speech at the function presided over by Senior Secretary, Information and Communication Technology Department Niaz Mohammad Zeaul Alam. In his speech, he said that the winners will get the prizes by July 13 for announcing their names online. CRI Coordinator Tanmoy Ahmed spoke about the judgment process at the award ceremony. He said that even after the online quiz, to judge the winners of the trial, they have been checked and selected by calling random questions. Apu Mahfuz said that the website created on the occasion of the Olympiad has been visited 9 million times.
